Educational Trips & Visits

The educational visits offered at Q3 Academy Langley supplement the learning of our broad and balanced curriculum, to ensure students can ‘live life to the full’ and ‘seek for that which is good, that which is right and that which is true,’ as part of our Christian ethos.

Our visits:

  • Are run by qualified Visit Leaders who are trained in risk management by Sandwell Local Authority guidelines and are OEAP approved.
  • Are risk assessed and planned in detail before approval through the EVOLVE+ system;
  • Are underpinned by clear learning objectives that allow students to experience and practise the curriculum in action;
  • Offer a wide range of enrichment opportunities to ensure students develop a broad range of life skills, knowledge and cultural capital;
  • Promote fundamental British Values;
  • Are inclusive of all students through careful consideration of costing and access arrangements, to ensure that no child is left behind, including those with SEND;
  • Support young people to become responsible citizens who embody our Academy ethos within the community;
  • Develop Character and moral virtue.
  • Can include sporting fixtures, day trips, overseas trips, residential stays, adventurous activities, joint establishment visits or a combination of these types.
